Help Us Build a Well in Melala, Tanzania

We’re raising €15,000 - 20,000 to build a safe water well for roughly 150 Masai people in Melala, Tanzania.

Why This Well Matters 💧

Their current water source is 2.5 kilometers away — that’s a 5 km round trip. Besides that this location for fetching water is unsafe. A girl from the community fell into a well and died.

Our Solution: A Safe, Sealed Well ✅

We’re building a modern, sealed well that will:

  • Serve 150 people — The well will be at the location of the community
  • Prevent accidents — The well will be thin and completely sealed so no one can fall in
  • Use solar panels — Instead of a mechanical pump we plan to use an electric pump
  • Create local jobs — Built by locals and operated by community members who will earn income
  • Ensure sustainability — Small usage fees will fund maintenance and repairs, preventing the well from going out of use
